APPELLATE PRACTICE / INSURANCE LAW:
Mr. Keyes has over 30 years of experience as an appellate practitioner. Mr. Keyes has argued successfully before the United States District Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the Vermont Supreme Court and numerous trial courts on both the state and federal levels. Mr. Keyes consults with lawyers about pleading, dispositive motions and legal strategy in civil litigation. Mr. Keyes has extensive experience in insurance coverage matters. He also represents applicants in zoning and land use proceedings. He is a longtime Member of the Vermont Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Civil Rules and a Fellow in the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers.
Mr. Keyes has received Martindale-Hubbell, Inc.'s highest "AV" rating.
