Mr. Maass's primary area of concentration is in:

EMPLOYMENT / LABOR LAW / PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY LITIGATION:
A substantial portion of Mr. Maass’s practice consists of counseling employers on employment issues. Mr. Maass has experience advising employers on issues pertaining to union avoidance, collective bargaining and avoiding wrongful discharge claims. He frequently conducts employment-related training for businesses (i.e. FMLA/PFLA, ADA and sexual harassment). He is an approved trainer for equal employment/discrimination matters by the Civil Rights Division of the Vermont Attorney General’s Office. Mr. Maass is also active in ski defense and professional liability litigation and has successfully tried numerous cases to jury verdict.
