Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
At RSC, we are committed to fostering and maintaining a professional environment where everyone feels welcome and included; a workplace that is free of bias and prejudice.
We find strength in the unique characteristics of all our lawyers and staff, to whom we attribute our success. The diversity of our people, our practices, and our clients ultimately brings forth perspectives that encourage bridging differences and creativity that produces superior solutions for our clients.
We believe that a diverse work environment attracts the best and the brightest people, and we strive to be a leader in our efforts to recruit and promote diverse legal talent.
Accordingly, even though our offices are located in one of the least diverse areas in our country, RSC is committed to developing and maintaining a diverse and inclusive work setting at all levels. We make every effort to attract people of diverse backgrounds and characteristics, including race, gender, ethnicity, cultural heritage, disability, religion, and sexual orientation.
Our attorneys have been involved in DEI initiatives in the Vermont business community and have participated as members of the ALFA International Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee from its inception. RSC’s DEI Committee reports directly to our firm’s Board of Directors, which provides leadership-level support for DEI initiatives.
Even though we take pride in the firm’s leadership in DEI issues within our community, we are mindful that encouraging fairness and inclusivity is an ongoing test. We are committed to growing the strength of our future firm through a culture that supports inclusion at every level. Diversity brings richness and strength to our firm and our clients.
